Second International Hedgehog Workshop
Vienna, Austria, 18-20 August 1997
In connection to the XXV International Ethological Conference (IEC) in Vienna 20- 27 August 1997 it was arranged a Second International Hedgehog Workshop 18-20 August in Vienna. 
The hedgehog workshop was taken place in a meeting room in the Biozentrum, adjacent to the main conference venue (Wirtschafter-universitaet). 
Detailed information was sent to the participants, however invitation and program was sent out to each on the EHRG address list.
Additional people who wanted to participate could contact Beate Johansen or Marcel Huijser. 
Every participant had to find accomodation and financiation for themselves (questions: contact Beate Johansen, Marcel Huijser or Nigel Reeve). 
The IEC Organizing Committee might fund the travel and stay for people from the Baltics, East-Europe and developing countries, registration to the IECmust have been done before February 28 1997. 

The hedgehog workshop consistes of oral talks and discussions about international cooperative hedgehog scientific projects. 
The results from 1996 and 1997, the first years of cooperative data collection from different european countries, was presented.
Everybody with a scientific interest in hedgehogs was welcome. 
New members in EHRG was invited to present themselves and their work.
